Solvent Cement Becomes Eco-friendly

IPS Corporation is the first in the solvent cement manufacturing industry to offer all of its Weld-On products in environmentally-responsible, Low VOC (volatile organic compound) formulations.

The comprehensive Weld-On range includes top-quality solvent cements and primers for PVC-U and PVC-C piping. It already features products such as the innovative Wet 'R Dry which will make effective solvent welded joints in extremely arduous conditions.

IPS pioneered the first Lox VOC solvent cement for use on plastic piping systems in 1992. Low VOC products - with lesser VOC emissions - will contribute to cleaner air and better workplace conditions. Importantly they also offer the same quality and installation properties as non-Low VOC products.
