Today we continued to spread more Christmas Cheer, just before we break up for a well earned holiday!  We delivered a load of toys to the SunFM toy appeal and Kyle and Ian from our warehouse team managed to get onto the SunFM twitter page @1034SunFM - fame at last!

Each year Wearside families and businesses donate so generously to Sun FM’s Toy Appeal, last year raising over £76,000 worth of gifts.

With the help of Sun FM's partners this year, Bridges Shopping Centre, Caterpillar, Smyth’s Toys Superstore and Go North East, they are asking people to consider those less fortunate than themselves.

There will be children across Sunderland, Washington, Houghton, Hetton, Seaham & Peterlee and everywhere in-between who may wake up on Christmas morning to very little, or worse still nothing under the tree, so when you’re Christmas shopping over the next few weeks, why not pick up an extra present or two. From babies up to 18 years old, any gift would be fabulous.

Why not help the appeal and spread the word - lets bring some collective cheer!!

We also decided to raffle off one of the gifts donated to us from one of our supply partners, a hamper from Lareter raising £82.00 for the Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen, which provides free food for those who are in need, 7 nights a week!

After a tense moment, Kevin Curran our MD pulled out the winning ticket with the lucky winner being Claire Carrol (who refused to share it with anybody)
