7 years after learning from the great man himself, Les Walker. Before IPS I worked at RS Components for nearly 10 years. Prior to that, I worked for a plastics company for 15 years where I set-up and run machines to produce components mainly for the pharma sector.
Industry Experience

Fire Sector – Developing the fire sector for the future. Although I have been involved for the last 7 years or so, this is my first chance to fully commit to this sector.
Specialisms / Work Interests

My background in the industrial industry is dealing with clean water industries. This is from working with local water sectors and miles of foot prints all over sites from new WTWs to refurbs of WTWs.

I also have allot of background in the swimming pool and agricultural industries that require industrial plumbing.

Interests in work are the new challenges I come across every day. Making sure my customer is at the front of everything I do on a day-to-day basis.
Work Based Superpower

Building relationships with internal and external customers & team members. I sit on several sub committee’s for BAFSA. The Skills & Development Group. (we set-up and oversee the L2 BAFSA Sprinkler Course) The technical committee (we oversee and get heavily involved with reviewing British Standards and industry technical bulletins) The water mist working group (again oversee the review of water mist specific standards).
Outside Of Work

Married, with three kids and one gorgeous dog.

Retired Level 2 FA football coach. I was the senior coach on the club committee where I was overseeing 55 coaches.

I love most sports and will give anything a go. Running, golf, football. I’m happy to give anything a try once.
