Although not an ideal scenario, providing the operating conditions are suitable for both materials, yes you can join ABS to PVC-U as long as PVC-U Solvent Cement is used, such as our 719 cement part number 719-300

Praher

Praher valves are manufactured in Austria and the USA for a multitude of applications from semi-conductors to agriculture. The range is divided into three groups: "Energy" - safety products for process duties; "Ocean" - for water or simple applications; and "Evolution" - a comprehensive actuated valve programme. Materials covered include PVC-U, Polypropylene and PVDF.

With the integration of IBG into the company, the product range now includes PVC-U fittings in metric diameters up to 400mm.
